Emily & Jake were an absolute joy to work with. It was especially meaningful to reconnect with Emily after sharing the same college program, and we couldn’t wait to plan the perfect sunset engagement session together.
For weeks, we watched the forecast and tried to find the perfect evening. But, as May sometimes does, the rain had other plans. Weekend after weekend, we found ourselves rescheduling—until we finally found our day.
And then, just minutes into their session, it started raining again.
Instead of letting the weather stop us, we embraced it—and honestly, it ended up being the best thing that could have happened. The clouds opened up, the sun broke through, and the sky filled with the most beautiful color.
As the evening unfolded, Emily and Jake completely came out of their shells. They laughed, ran through the fields, and simply enjoyed being together. Their connection was effortless, and their love for one another poured into every image.

02. do you offer engagement sessions?
Absolutely! Engagement sessions are complimentary with every wedding package because we believe they’re such an important part of the experience. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, get comfortable in front of the camera, and have some fun together before the big day.
Not planning to book wedding photography with us? No problem! We also offer engagement sessions on their own for couples who simply want to celebrate this season of their relationship and have beautiful photos to remember it by.
03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
Family photos don’t have to feel stressful or take you away from the celebration. We have a very organized system in place to keep everything moving smoothly and efficiently.
During your scheduling call, we’ll walk through the important family groupings together and create a personalized shot list so everyone knows exactly what to expect. On the wedding day, we’ll take the lead in gathering and directing everyone, keeping things organized while making the process feel effortless.
If you have a second shooter, they’ll also help with directing and gathering family members so everything flows seamlessly.
Our goal is simple: beautiful family photos without the chaos.
04. Do you travel for destination weddings?
Absolutely! We love traveling and would be honored to capture your wedding wherever your love story takes you.
Travel fees do apply for destination weddings, but depending on the location, we’re always open to discussing a trade of services for accommodations and room & board. We’re happy to chat through the details and find an option that works best for everyone.
